So there are a thousand different types of bodies. You can spend all your time fighting against your genetics or you can play up your strengths and be confident. There's so much pressure put on gay men to either be tiny and toned, or ripped and muscular (and we all know there's an intense amount of pressure put on women). Either way, SOMEBODY out there is going to find faults with your body (whether you're too heavy and they have an issue with that, or you're too thin, and they have an issue with that). If you don't fit into the stereotype of beauty, well, neither do most people. Be proud of what you have, work to be happy, and overall, live healthily and don't impose the beauty stereotype unfairly on others.
Don't mistake this for excusing an unhealthy lifestyle. This video is about accept our natural bodies and not hating what they look like, not about giving up on being healthy. That being said, I'm not mr. macho man, and no matter how much I'd love to look like Taylor Lautner, it's not going to happen. Striving for that would be UNHEALTHY. And honestly, I don't even think looking like that would make me all that much happier than I am now anyway.
