23 Story Electronics Market in China 😱 Better than Alibaba?? Guangzhou wholesale mall sourcing

MORE IN THE DESCRIPTION ⬇️ Visiting China? I wrote up some things you should know before going -- http://livinthatlife.com/china-travel-guide/ Chinese wholesale market/mall w 23 Floors. Yes. It's real. It felt like walking thru Alibaba .com lol... I think a lot of the sellers in here are just wholesalers who take orders from sites like Aliexpress.com, alibaba.com, globalsources.com and other wholesale sites around the world.. bc they are always packing up boxes ...... well everywhere around the outskirts of the city of Guangzhou all you see are people moving boxes around haha..... was this better than just scouting for new product ideas on Alibaba.com? Not sure.. sometimes you can get lucky and find that amazingly cool thing.. but that can happen online too.... nonetheless it was a good experience to try out and see what the wholesale scene it all about. ...then we get a bite of some Chinese food, and end it with a preview of the next video, nightlife at O2 club at Party Pier.. click to watch next! Zens Brand Store In Beijing China World Trade Center Tower by CUN Design

00:31
ZENS focuses on Chinese design while keeping an eye on young Chinese designers, whom it dubbed as the “Platinum Generation”. In the spring of 2017, ZENS and CUN DESIGN came into contact for the first time and tried to accomplish a work together with a fresh design. At that time, we went close to the brand and found that the first thing that ZENS needed was to refresh its image if it was determined to design together with CUN DESIGN. Through these store designs we could get to know each other better, and what’s more, store design was extremely important at that time as ZENS was poised for a take-off. International Award for Sustainable Architecture Awards 2018 First Award | Category: Commercial Interior Architects: Shu Cui Studio Name: CUN Design Team Members: Wang Jizhou Chuan Country: China Website: www.cunchina.cn Interior Designer: Cui Shu, Wang Jizhou Participating Designer: Ma Chuanchuan Location: China World Trade Center Tower, Chaoyang District, Beijing Function: Commercial space Project Name: ZENS Brand Store in Beijing China World Trade Center Tower 3 Area:128㎡ Photographer: Wang Ting, Wang Jin Hence, we saw a store opened on the first floor of Beijing China World Trade Center Tower 3. Given the small floor area in a strange oval shape, we tried to design the store with the concept of an oriental circle. In this way, CUN DESIGN embarked on this new journey of designing for the brand terminal store together with designers from ZENS! The design method adopted was quite simple. We first tried to soften the edges and corners on the floor, walls and roof with a borderless technique so as to divert attention from the size and shape of the store space and blur the boundary of the store. Subsequently, we used an open-ended bamboo device to make an oriental circle, which looked like a carp bending its body and extending its tail, or a pebble with rounded edges. Finally, with such an oriental circle device, all functions were coordinated and integrated. In my understanding, the orient could be represented by a circle. However, in my heart, the circle, instead of a geometric figure known to the world, is more like a pebble washed by the stream of time with rounded and smooth edges that presents various styles from different angles. It looks like a compromise with the world and the environment, but retains a kind of self-persistence and respect for time, attesting to a distinct personality without being sharp or mean! Designers of CUN DESIGN used a geometric figure known to the world to display oriental wisdom and philosophy. We believe the purpose of design has never been beauty but something deeper and far more important. It may be the precision, the wisdom, the enlightenment after a problem is solved, or a beautiful presentation based on methodology. Another great opportunity. APR’s next award Urban Design & Architecture Design Awards 2018 is open for Registration.

The Fake Watch Industry In China. Be Careful when buying a watch.

13:29
If you have any questions please email me at: [email protected] The luxury Swiss watchmakers have always been an icon of modern sports brands of such standing, it is only natural that many will choose to make fake watches. It is not always easy to tell the difference between the original and a fake, especially if you’re not a watch expert and don’t know how to open the back of the watch to inspect its movement. FAKE WATCH MYTH #1: Fake Watches are Lighter than Genuine Watches Rubbish! Counterfeiters today easily make watches that are the same weight. How? Well, they are using the same ETA movements as the original manufacturers or second source copies. Therefore weight is no longer an acid test. FAKE WATCH MYTH #2: It’s Not Complicated You will read that complications never work on fake watches. It is true that in many cases they do not. But many luxury watches do not have any complications except date, which may work on a fake watch. Therefore, the complication test is usually not helpful in separating the fakes from the real. FAKE WATCH MYTH #3: The Date Bubbles on Fake Rolexes Don’t Magnify Enough It used to be that the “Cyclops,” the lens over the date on a Rolex did not magnify 2.5 times on a fake Rolex. That is not so difficult to fake anymore. I have seen many fake Rolex watches with the correct magnification. I would not depend on that as a litmus test. FAKE WATCH MYTH #4: A Genuine Movement Means a Genuine Watch Have you heard that movements on fake watches are never the same? How wrong that is. Most watch brands today buy their movements from ETA, the world’s largest supplier of mechanical movements. The counterfeiters can now buy Chinese or Japanese reproductions or indeed actual ETA movements from secondary sources. Take a look below at how similar reproduction movements look. Which of below is authentic and which is fake? They look pretty similar, don’t they? FAKE WATCH MYTH #5: Don’t Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth There is no such thing as a free lunch, right? The conventional wisdom is that gifts of luxury watches are fakes. Well, this may be close to the truth. But real watches are inherited and sold. If we all go around scrapping inheritance gifts, it may be an expensive error. This is hardly a definitive test for telling genuine finds from imposters. FAKE WATCH MYTH #6: All the Watches on Craig’s List are Fake Is this a myth? Probably not, honestly. I can’t recommend looking on Craig’s List for a luxury watch. Twenty years ago the fakes were really fake. You could look at a watch and really quickly determine it was trash. Not anymore. As manufacturers add counterfeit measures, the counterfeiters copy them. Today we have super fakes that take experience and knowledge to detect.

Top cosmetics brands in China are the international, new comers to the market, like Estee Lauder, La mer, Dior, Channel, etc etc. Cosmetics brands made in China are not bought by the richest locals since they would prefer to purchase international standards brands, (Chinese themselves do not trust their MADE IN CHINA products ). China skin care products are a priority for every woman monthly expense. Best skincare products in China are always located in prestigious department stores. Estee lauder animal testing in China is a worry for many, Does Estee lauder sell in China ? YES . China will overtake us, sure, sooner or later, China will overtake the us economy ? At some point it might, and in many industries already is overtaking it . Top chinese cosmetics brands are mostly made with parabens so I try to avoid them. Chinese natural cosmetics brands are more and more popular with time. Most popular skin care products in China strangely are Korean and Japanese. Anti aging products in China are some of the most sold ones. Anti-aging market in China is getting big, overall with the China BEAUTY MARKET . China Fake Apple Stores Could Threaten Brand

02:06
China's poor record of preventing copyright violations is not getting any better. Fake Apple stores were recently discovered in the capital of Yunnan province, in Kunming city. While some Chinese customers are happy to get the products despite the stores being unauthorized, some experts say Apple's prestigious brand could suffer. The fake Apple Stores have now been closed. Counterfeiting is a major concern for China's trading partners. Now it's gone far beyond copying individual goods. A fake Apple store discovered in China's Kunming City shows just how lax the Chinese are in regulating intellectual property rights. It was one of several unauthorized Apple stores in the area—complete with the white Apple logo, wooden tables, identical posters and cheery staff in blue t-shirts. One customer didn't feel it mattered. [Hu Junkai, Kunming City Resident]: "If the products you buy are real and not counterfeit, who cares whether this store is a copy or not. The only thing that matters is that their products are real." But not all customers were so unfazed, and returned to demand their money back. Apple was alerted to the fake store when an American living in the city wrote about it on her blog. Just a few blocks away, another fake, though less convincing, Apple Store can be found. Apple has authorized about one thousand re-sellers to sell its goods in China, but they are not allowed to call themselves Apple stores. Others buy popular Apple products abroad and smuggle them into the country to avoid taxes, selling them at cheaper prices than at the authorized stores. A senior researcher at China Market Research, James Roy, says it could hurt the brand. [James Roy, Senior Researcher, China Market Research]: "Well it can hurt, especially if people can't tell the difference between the real thing and the copy. People might have a bad experience, they might blame the brand." So far Apple has declined to comment on the fake stores, but a spokesman said consumers can go to the company's website to locate authorized outlets. China ultimate fake: IKEA lookalike store at China - 02Aug2011

01:53
It has the same blue and yellow colour scheme, the same miniature pencils, the same shopping bags - but don't be fooled, this IKEA store is only a lookalike The imitation store - called 11 Furniture - is a four-storey building in the southern district of Kunming city in south-west China. The store looks and feels the same as IKEA, with the same mock-up rooms, layout and even rocking chair designs but it sells its own furniture made to order instead of IKEA flat-packed products. The shop covers a huge 10,000 sq m and even has a cafeteria-style restaurant, complete with minimalist wooden tables, although the menu features Chinese-style braised minced pork and eggs instead of IKEA's Swedish meatballs. The retailer is cashing in on replicating the brand experience rather than faking the product itself. This copycat store is characteristic of a new trend in China. Last month, an American blogger posted pictures of an elaborate fake Apple Store in Kunming, selling genuine if unauthorised iPhones, Macbooks and other products. However Paul French, the founder of the consulting firm, Access Asia, says no one should be surprised. He said: "It's nothing new, it's been going on for 25 years. Just about every foreign brand that has ever come here has been faked. "What we are seeing with the Apple and the IKEA stores is that they are 'lookie-likies', they are not actually fakes." The presence of the imitation stores in Kunming highlights China's appetite for western brands. IKEA said it has teams working at both the country and global level to handle intellectual property protection issues. "IKEA as one of the biggest home furnishing companies in the world, protecting Ikea's intellectual property rights is crucial," said Ikea China. It has nine stores in China - and plans to open one to two more stores a year. Chinese law prohibits firms from copying the "look and feel" of other companies' stores, but foreign companies must register their trademarks with China and enforcement can be lax. The United States and other Western countries have often complained China is woefully behind in its effort to stamp out intellectual property theft.

Fake Ikea Discovered In China

01:23
For more news visit ☛ http://english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http://twitter.com/NTDTelevision Add us on Facebook ☛ http://facebook.com/NTDTelevision These days when we hear of piracy, it's often in association with Somalia. But there's a very different type of piracy happening in China. Not only are luxury items and DVDs being faked and pirated, now, entire stores and brand experiences are being pirated as well. In July, Kunming City in Southwest China gained worldwide attention for having not one, but three knock off Apple Stores--stores that looked identical to the real thing down to the tinniest detail. Now, Ikea may be the latest victim. This 10,000 square meter, four-story, yellow and blue, building looks in every way like a typical Ikea. The Swedish furniture giant has nine stores in China, but this is not one of them. It's called 11 Furniture, and it's a complete fake. [Paul French, Founder Access Asia]: "It's nothing new, its been going on for 25 years. Just about every foreign brand that has ever come here, has been faked, or what we are seeing with the Apple and the Ikea store is that they are 'lookie-likies,' they are not actually fakes. The guy who is selling Apples out of what looks like an Apple store, they are actually Apple computers, they are not fake computers, its a little bit different to fakes." Chinese consumers seem to have an insatiable appetite for western goods, an appetite that shows no signs of being satisfied. Chris Chappell

82 Hilarious Funny & Fake Products From China

06:56
82 Hilarious Funny & Fake Products From China To listen to some nice music and relax, you can visit our friendly channel "TRG": https://goo.gl/Hry5Ut Wikipedia.org: To counterfeit means to imitate something. Counterfeit products are fake replicas of the real product. Counterfeit products are often produced with the intent to take advantage of the superior value of the imitated product. The word counterfeit frequently describes both the forgeries of currency and documents, as well as the imitations of clothing, handbags, shoes, pharmaceuticals, aviation and automobile parts, watches, electronics (both parts and finished products), software, works of art, toys, movies.[1] Counterfeit products tend to have fake company logos and brands. In the case of goods, it results in patent infringement or trademark infringement. Counterfeit consumer products have a reputation for being lower quality (sometimes not working at all) and may even include toxic elements. This has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, due to automobile and aviation accidents, poisoning, or ceasing to take essential compounds (e.g. in the case a person takes non-working medicine).[2] The counterfeiting of money is usually attacked aggressively by governments worldwide. The counterfeiting of goods is condoned by some governments. Counterfeit paper money is the most popular product counterfeited. Theverybesttop10.com: Each and every year firms spend millions on brand identity only to spend twice as much in courtrooms up and down the land fighting brand theft, and imitation! Sad news indeed for the company’s that have to pay it, but for us consumers it does lead to some rather funny discovery’s when we are out shopping. So I have decided to bring you just ten of what I think is the very best examples of brand identity theft…. “Only Future Coke will do when you’re thirstiest! …not now, but in the future!” TIP: They say a change is as good as a rest, but when it comes to product and indeed company re-branding little is very much more, little changes over the course of a few years will have a much lesser impact than a sudden product change. Sadly the truth is that people don’t like changes, but little changes might well go un-noticed. “Let’s Build! ..using bricks, plastic ones, but not the official kind.” TIP: When it comes to brand identity always try and do something every now and again that is a surprise! Maybe a crazy, un-related giveaway or a unique competition idea. Next week we take a look at the new Sqny Peestation! TIP: Have you ever seen those design concepts that phone company’s, car manufactures seem to accidentally let slip? Well that is no accident at all, in fact it is a great way of judging how people might react to the real and indeed finished brand design.

China AP Market Shanghai

45:46
An in Depth look at the AP Shanghai Market. This shows interactions with the workers and the bartering that can go down here. Bags and watches were mostly left out as we were asked not to film these. This video will give you a good idea of what to expect when coming to this market. In all honesty, this market was one of the best in China. The bartering monsters come out.... Prices: you may or may not get the same as us underarmour t shirts 40-50 RMB underarmour long sleeve 60 RMB Adidas ultra boost 180RMB Adidas boost 150RMB most shoes should be around 150-200RMB regular t shirts 30-50 RMB mens sweat pants 100RMB superdry jacket 200 RMB Canada goose jacket womens long 350 RMB some tea 35 RMB Bose Bluetooth headphones 80-100RMB Apple watch 100RMB Supreme hat 50-80RMB Stussy beanie 30-50 RMB Sunglasses 50 RMB that's all I can remember for now. If you are not getting the price you want, then there is another store with the exact same stuff around the corner. Also leaving and coming back works as well. Good luck and I would say that everyone has a different style to bartering. I would typically pay a couple dollars more than my friend as he was able to stick to his original pricing. I would cave in and pay the extra couple bucks. All in all, I'm home now and wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

China Shopping Fake bags are fake bargains: Why you should avoid Chinese knock-offs

19:37
Backpack I use when traveling https://goo.gl/4MHTxa There's a discount shopping mall China known to locals as the "fake mall". No beating about the bush for the pragmatic Chinese. This is the place to go for (illegal) knock-offs of luxury brands. Of course, most Chinese wouldn't be seen dead in any of it. They buy only the real thing, even if it costs them six months' salary. Or they fly to Tokyo, Sydney and Taipei to snap up their luxury goods duty free. The fake mall is for international tourists, who get a kick out of parting with as little as $10 for the current favourite knock-off, a faux Issey Miyake Bao Bao shoulder bag worth, if it were real, about $1200. It's a desultory place, with three floors of dismal stores and some very unhappy-looking sellers. They sell stuff that wasn't worth copying in the first place, such as Ralph Lauren Polo logo polo shirts and golf caps in Burberry plaid. Don't start bargaining or even look interested or you'll be chased around the hallways by an angry vendor who will not be rejected. That's the first rule of bargain shopping in China – do not begin the process of bargaining if you don't want the item. They'll keep dropping the price with the understanding that you will finally accept it and do the deal. If you don't, all hell may break loose. Fear for your life in if you changed my mind and walk away from a vendor, even though given me a ridiculously low price. You have wasted time and they will be furious, possibly rightly so. I visited the Chinese fake mall with two friends who go there regularly to get new reading glasses made up. The second floor is home to about a dozen spectacle shops, selling everything from $5 sunglasses to more expensive frames that might have walked straight out of the luxury goods factory door. But even a pair of possibly "real" French designer frames cost a fraction of their boutique value there. The salespeople copy the prescription lenses in a machine and have them ready a day later with new frames. My friends bought multiple glasses in good frames, for about $50-60 each.

[BBC] World's first Barbie store opens in China

The world's first Barbie store has opened its doors in Shanghai, China with six floors filled entirely with Barbie dolls and accessories. Jiang Xiaoyun stared wide-eyed at the pink cupcakes, pink T-shirts, pink purses and pink dolls in the towering new Barbie flagship store and declared the place a dream come true. " Jiang gushed as she and her cousin snapped photos of themselves with mannequins and talked about how wonderfully "princess-y" everything was. In the United States, Barbies and Barbie products are considered toys and are marketed primarily for girls 8 years old or younger. Not so in China. Jiang, a 23-year-old administrative assistant, was part of a crowd of women in their 20s and 30s who mobbed the Barbie store on a recent weekend. Few were there for the dolls. Instead, they were browsing the store's animal-print scarves; gourmet chocolate from Laris, one of Shanghai's most exclusive restaurants on the Bund, a famous avenue; and a $10,000 wedding dress designed by Vera Wang. Like many other multinational firms, Mattel - the world's largest toymaker - is looking toward the 1.3 billion potential customers in China to make up for slow sales elsewhere. Winning over young urban professional women in China like Jiang has become an obsession for such companies. Less concerned about price than their male counterparts but with similar disposable incomes and a love for Western brands, these consumers have the potential to make or break a company's quarterly sales. Estee Lauder has teamed up with Sony to produce a 40-episode digital sitcom that began in December and includes product placements for Clinique cosmetics and other products. The plot revolves around a college student in Shanghai. And Unilever launched a Chinese version of "Ugly Betty" that features a script about the company's campaign for "real beauty." The first season featured 3,300 seconds of the Dove brand. Barbara Millicent Roberts, better known as Barbie, made her debut at a toy fair in New York City in 1959 and has since become a subject of both controversy and adoration. The 11.5-inch doll's va-va-voom figure has been criticized throughout the years as being an inhuman ideal, but she has continued to be so popular that the average American girl owns eight Barbies. Through the years, Barbie has had more than 108 careers and has worn costumes from 50 nations. But sales have stumbled. For Mattel, the fourth quarter of last year was especially depressing: Sales fell 11 percent to $2 billion while operating income was down 36 percent. "When Barbie entered American supermarkets, its brand image was damaged. Mattel is thinking to rebuild the brand image here as a dream, a paradise not only for little girls but for their mothers, too," said Sun Yimin, a marketing professor at Fudan University in Shanghai. To celebrate Barbie's 50th birthday this year, Mattel organized a glitzy fashion show in New York and a celebrity party at a replica of the Barbie Dream House in Malibu. The Shanghai store, which opened in March, is the cornerstone of the company's campaign to revitalize the brand. Located on Shanghai's equivalent of Fifth Avenue, the six-story, 35,000-square-foot building includes a luxury spa and restaurant in addition to its vast retail space. "Chinese consumers barely know anything about Barbie except that Barbie is a pretty doll," said Laura Lai, general manager of Barbie Shanghai. This has given the company an opportunity to rewrite the doll's story. "We're targeting girls of all ages - no matter whether they are 6 years old or 60 years old." If the long checkout lines at the Shanghai store are any indication, Mattel's strategy is working. Pan Yangzhou, a 21-year-old who was visiting from the nearby city of Nanjing, bought some blush and lipstick. Tang Xuyu, a 25-year-old Shanghai native who works as an assistant to the chief executive of a local restaurant group, purchased a notebook, some chocolates and a card. Cui Xiujao, a 25-year-old who works for a software company, had bought a pink T-shirt for her sister, who is also in her 20s, and was browsing for something for herself. "Barbie attracts me because she's very feminine and independent. She's in charge of her own life. And she has many different roles," Cui said, justifying her spending. "But most important are her pretty clothes."
