I can honestly say that this the best cartoon opening ever made. This cartoon aired in the years 1996 and 1997 on cartoon network. A higher quality version (but still not HD) has been uploaded by another Youtuber. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uuJULBkHG4

Jonny Quest, Hadji, Bandit, Dr. Quest and Race Bannon return for an all-new suite of super-adventures in this originally syndicated sequel series from the heyday of the awesome animation age. In this 13-Episode go round, plucky pre-teen tomboy Jessie Bradshaw breaks into the band of bros along with a new stoneman ally, Hardrock. The Quest plane gets a too-cool makeover as well, now capable of splitting off a high-speed shuttle for one-man missions. But the more things change... the more Jonny and company still square off against weird menaces from the very edge of science! Giant Viking apes, pre-historic reptile clones, animated clay warriors are just some of the fantastic foes faced in this funtastic new series — not to mention the implacable, fiendish Dr. Zin. 2-Disc, 13-Episode Collection.

This un-credited documentary about the making of the 1960's action adventure TV show is an incredibly detailed analysis of the making of one of the greatest animated cartoons and American pop culture icons of all time running well over two hours. Jonny Quest has been a favorite childhood Saturday morning memory for so many since it's introduction in the early 1960's and particularly the original episodes overseen and illustrated by the great Doug Wildey. Thanks must go to Chris Webber for making this documentary available for download. His YouTube page is chrisweb037 and his fantastic blog spot is http://chriswebber037.blogspot.com/

A rare documentary featuring interviews, rare clips and insight into the origins of Jonny Quest and it's creators. This amazing documentary originally appeared on the most excellent JONNY QUEST DVD box set. We didn't make this nor claim to own it. We just love cartoons and Hanna- Barbera. We do not own Jonny Quest. Jonny Quest is trademark and Copyright Hanna-Barbera/Turner

This is the opening and closing credits and theme song from the hit Saturday morning cartoon "Jonny Quest." Jonny originally aired during prime time in 1964 but during my own childhood he was on Saturday mornings. Jonny was voiced by Tim Matheson. Lots more to come, request your favorites!

We have a rather unique combination of trailers here -- Firstly there's the "jumping blocks" promo of Cartoon Network, followed by the "Cartoon Network matrix" promo in Johnny Quest style, and lastly there's the Johnny Quest intro.

There's just something about this scene from Episode 3, Curse of Anubis, that touches my heart. It's probably the villain outright trying to shoot a dog in a children's cartoon. Poor Bandit. Jonny Quest and all related episodes and characters belong to Hannah-Barbera and apparently all their copyrights stuff is owned by Warner Bros. these days. The advertisements are there for them.

This un-credited documentary about the making of the 1960's action adventure tv show is a treat! It runs well over two hours so I took it upon myself to break it into 3 segments, each segment running around 50 minutes each. Jonny Quest has always been a favourite childhood saturday morning memory and I'm so happy to have found this. Many thanks to Chris Webber for making this documentary available for download. Jonny Quest -- often casually referred to as The Adventures of Jonny Quest -- is an American science fiction/adventure animated television series about a boy who accompanies his father on extraordinary adventures. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for Screen Gems, and created and designed by comic book artist Doug Wildey. Jonny Quest first aired on September 18, 1964 on the ABC network, in prime time, and was an almost instant success. The percussion-heavy big band jazz theme music for the 1960s series and each episode's score were all composed by Hoyt Curtin.

We wrap up our special tribute the vintage cartoon adventure series The Adventures of Jonny Quest with a video clip of the closing credits. We felt this closing credits clip was important to ensure everyone gets a chance to see the list of fine people who worked behind the scenes to create the Jonny Quest series. Of particular note is of course Doug Wildey, but also Hoyt Curtain, who directed the music that accompanies the series, including the incredible theme song. Our thanks to all the fine people at Hanna-Barbera, Doug Wildey and his team, and the more recent team at Warner Brothers (warnervideo.com) for their outstanding and ground breaking work on the series, as well as the fine work on assembling the DVD package a decade ago on the series. Well done everyone! This video clip is presented here on YouTube for the entertainment and informational value of the viewer, and no copyright infringement is intended. Enjoy! And remember, the DVD video set of this 'first' season of The Adventures of Jonny Quest', as well as the follow-up seasons to the series (that were produced in the 1980s and early 1990s) are all available at either Amazon, B&N, warnervideo.com, etc. The DVD set in highly recommended. And onward we go to our next cartoon video tribute... another of the 'original big-four' Hanna-Barbera cartoons of the early 1960s that entered the network's primetime schedule. This one, about a group of alley cats called 'Top Cat.'
