I’ve been to every country in the world. And, today I’m gonna tell you about some of my favourite countries in the Middle East and my favourite experiences in each of them. BAHRAIN It was one of the first places that the British came and they already had this big fort there. It also has a lot of culture and a really great National Museum, I thinks one of the better museums in the Middle East. Not only does it have a big history part but it has a really nice contemporary art like centre. I also had you know fun time driving into the desert, have you heard of the tree of life or so the tree of life in Bahrain you drive desert desert desert and suddenly there is this huge green tree that people think is this anomaly. I think Bahrain in a lot of ways is an anomaly. EGYPT I one night ate pigeon and it’s actually pretty good. I was you know we ordered it, it’s somewhat common and it’s not, it’s fine, it’s like a small little bird it’s hard to get the meat off but you have to eat it with your hands. I kind of go through the bones, I wouldn’t recommend it. You know on a first date because you’re a little bit you know using your hands but it’s that was interesting that was a first for me. What I remember the most was that the pyramids are first time you see them are amazing and then you drive by them every day and it’s funny that something so incredible can become so normalized. I went to Luxor to see all of the temples there and it’s just you know they say that the pyramids were older to Cleopatra then Cleopatra is to the iPhone. That’s unbelievable right, to think that there’s that much history. IRAQ I spent my time in Iraqi Kurdistan and I think I was a little bit nervous to go there. I think a lot of places we get nervous since all in our heads and the second that I landed you know we were walking down the streets seeing everybody living their normal day lives, we got really really comfortable and it’s such a beautiful place. We ate a lot of kababs, we also ate a lot of fresh honey, we had to drank too much sugary tea, I think we are always like kind of had the sugar shakes, oh and the have like a big like bazaar and herbal that’s similar to like the Turkish Grand Bazaar and you can get all you know Turkish delight and tons of dried figs and dried nuts there. That’s really it’s kind of like a culinary heaven there in a way. JORDAN We went to Petra another really intense historical site that just kind of comes out of nowhere in the middle of the desert and then when we were leaving it started snowing and we got caught in a snowstorm which you again wouldn’t you know even I who had lived here for many years I sometimes, oh Middle East must be hot and you know we’re like deserts must be hot and that’s not true. It was so cold, snow everywhere. KUWAIT I thought it was such a pleasant city, I mean like palm trees and we went in like may be April so it was like perfect time weather-wise and all of our business meetings were really successful and everybody was really nice, so it was like a perfect experience.

OMAN | Exploring the Middle East

While traveling through the Middle East, we found ourselves surprised by the culture of Oman and the way that the country has spent its oil money. In contrast to what we experienced in other countries of the Middle East, Oman was a vibrant reminder of the country's cultural significance and the many worthwhile experiences that visitors can have. // Travel Vlog 88 // Muscat, Oman 🔔SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/hannahandchad ✈️FREE FLIGHTS STUFF Chad's free guides to getting free flights: http://bit.ly/ebookslearn Our app for finding free flights: http://bit.ly/findfreeflights How we have saved $80,000+ on flights: http://bit.ly/twomillionmiles 🖥️COURSES: http://bit.ly/courselearning Chad teaches U.S. residents how to fly for free: http://bit.ly/learnflight Chad's course on finance & investing: http://bit.ly/learnfinances 🏨ACCOMMODATION DISCOUNTS: $25 off on Booking: http://bit.ly/25booking25 $34 off on Airbnb: http://bit.ly/airbnb34 📱FOLLOW OUR JOURNEY: Instagram: @hannahandchad http://bit.ly/instapeeps Facebook: http://bit.ly/facebookpeeps Twitter: http://bit.ly/tweetspeeps WEBSITE: https://hannahandchad.co --------------------- Hi! ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLE Travel Around the WORLD, Middle East - Iraq

13:49
Adventure motorcycle travel around the world through stunning Iraq on a Honda Transalp. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT: https://donorbox.org/supportpedromota FOLLOW ALP AND ME: https://facebook.com/ipedromota https://instagram.com/ipedromota https://twitter.com/iPedroMota PART 4 In this riding video of motorcycle adventure travel around the world we just arrive at the Turkish border with Iraq and cross it in the evening near the city of Zakho. During the Iraqi customs process I get warm welcomes from all directions and a British Kurd invites me to his house in Duhok for the night. The ride starts in northern Iraq and progresses south east in Iraqi Kurdistan. An Iraq adventure motorcycle tour! Starting out in Zakho and going through cities like Duhok, passing Mosul, Akre, Erbil, Sulaimani (Sulaymanihah), Halabjah, Dokan and Amedi. Over and along desert regions where the road to the Iraqi capital is luring and the mountainous border with Iran. At one point I am only 150km from Baghdad and I'm tempted but reports have been conflicting. I'll stand out like a sore thump. Did not go and it ended up being a wise choice. A few days later while drinking with two guys from Baghdad they showed me a recent video of ISIS death squads shooting up innocent people on the highways. This was before ISIS was international headlines. Though soon they would be and I left the country a few days later. Two weeks later ISIS captured Mosul. There is immense beauty in Iraq and one day I would like to do a trip around the whole country. Enjoy this short adventure motorcycle documentary of Iraq. Put together with the bits that I recorded back in 2014. My name is Pedro Mota and back in 2014 I left the Netherlands on a beautiful Honda Transalp XL600v dualsport motorbike on a trip to the east end of Russia in Vladivostok. On the way there I would take a big detour through the Middle East, Central Asia and Mongolia. Little did I know back then that this would evolve into a years long motorcycle travel further taking me through Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the American continent.

Top 13 Middle East Travel Destinations

01:17
Top 13 Middle East Travel Destinations according to Lonely Planet 13. Luxor, Egypt 12. Beirut, Lebanon 11. Istanbul, Turkey 10. Palmyra, Syria Palmyra is known as Tadmor to the Syrians. Both mean the same thing - date palm. The name comes from the lush oasis adjacent to the city which is home to some million date palms. It is the only oasis in Syria and perhaps the only truly tourist town. Palmyra sits on the standard tourist trek around Syria and should be considered in this light. 9. Jerash, Jordan Jerash, a city in northern Jordan, is famous for its Roman ruins. The archaeological site is popular for tourists, second only to Petra. Located some 48 km north of the capital Amman, Jerash is known for the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. 8. Baalbek, Lebanon Baalbek is one of the most spectacular archaeological sites in Lebanon. Baalbeck or 'Heliopolis' as it was known is the site of great ancient temples built by the Phoenicians, the Romans, and other civilisations that have conquered the region and enjoyed the fertile soil of the Bekaa Valley. Some of the most celebrated temples are the ones of Bacchus, the Greek god of wine, and Jupiter, the Roman god of light, of the sky and weather. 7. Cappadocia, Turkey Cappadocia is an area in Central Anatolia in Turkey best known for its unique moon-like landscape, underground cities, cave churches and houses carved in the rocks. The Cappadocian Region located in the center of the Anatolian Region of Turkey, with its valley, canyon, hills and unusual rock formation created as a result of the eroding rains and winds of thousands of years. 6. Wadi Rum, Jordan Wadi Rum is a spectacularly scenic desert valley in southern Jordan. This area of Jordan is quite isolated and largely inhospitable to settled life. The only permanent inhabitants are several thousand Bedouin nomads and villagers. There is no real infrastructure, leaving the area quite unspoilt. 5. Cruising the Nile, Egypt Perhaps the most popular activity in Luxor and Aswan is to do the Nile Cruise on a ship from Aswan to Luxor. It enables you to stop at each location along the Nile where you can see all the famous ancient monuments as well as experience being in the Nile River inside a five-star hotel boat. 4. Dome of the Rock, Israel Dome of the Rock located in the middle of the sanctuary opposite of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, is probably the most known landmark of Jerusalem with its golden dome and octagonal blue walls that are adorned with Arabic calligraphy of Koranic verses. The interior of both the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa mosque are closed to non-Muslims, however, the plaza that they are situated in is open to the public. 3. Old City of Damascus, Syria Established between 10,000 to 8,000BC, Damascus is credited with being the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. The old-walled city, in particular, feels very ancient and largely consists of a maze of narrow alleys, punctuated by enigmatic doors that lead into pleasing, verdant courtyards and blank-faced houses. 2. Pyramids of Giza, Egypt Giza is best known for the world-famous Pyramids of Giza, situated high on the desert plateau immediately to the west of the urban district. One of the premier attractions of Egypt, if not the world, the Pyramids of Giza represent the archetypal pyramid structures of ancient Egyptian civilisation and - together with the Sphinx at the base of the Giza plateau - are the iconic image of Egypt. 1. Petra, Jordan Petra was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom from around the 6th century BC. The kingdom was absorbed into the Roman Empire in AD 106 and the Romans continued to expand the city. An important center for trade and commerce, Petra continued to flourish until a catastrophic earthquake destroyed buildings and crippled vital water management systems around AD 663. After Saladin's conquest of the Middle East in 1189, Petra was abandoned and the memory of it was lost to the West. How to Camp for Free in Oman and UAE | Middle East Travel Guide

30:06
November brings cold weather to most common tourist destinations. South America can be sweltering, and flights to Asia are long and expensive. The Middle East becomes the stand out contender! Safety, cultural barriers, and unfamiliarity all give pause when considering a trip here - but they shouldn't! The UAE and Oman are incredibly safe, traveller friendly, and absurdly rich in culture, sights, and delicious food. We decided to take a 5 day road trip through the country of Oman - discovering one of the most untouched and authentic places we've ever been. We drove through their biggest cities, isolated mountain villages, all while seeing goats and camels galore. Zanzibar and India have heavy handed influences in Omani cuisine, resulting in absolutely delicious food everywhere you go. This is How to Travel: The Middle East Like this vid? Anything we missed? Which Travel Vaccinations to Consider || South East Asia, Africa and Middle East

We go over the Top 10 Vaccinations you may be advised to receive before traveling abroad, what they are preventing against, and how many shots are administered. A little different than our other videos! Interview style and more informational! CHEERS! :) **We are not doctors or physicians but these are some things that we have learned from basic research, asking a lot of questions to nurses, and personal experience traveling. We were fortunate enough to get most these vaccines while Tyler was still in the military and were covered under the healthcare they provided. The ones we had to get to complete certain vaccine series were quite expensive. Talk with your healthcare provider and do your own research in regards to cost of vaccines. Tel Aviv Food Tour - BEST Sabich, Hummus, and Lamb Pita - Middle Eastern Israeli Food!

23:45
►Follow David on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the.hungry.tourist/ and Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thehungrytourist/ ►Subscribe - http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts - https://migrationology.com/store/ For this Tel Aviv, Israel, food tour, we hooked up with my friend David (https://www.instagram.com/the.hungry.tourist/) to eat some of the best food in Tel Aviv, including a few true gems of Israeli and Middle Eastern food. Our first stop was in Jaffa, the old area of Tel Aviv, just south of the main city. It’s an ancient Biblical city, and I was excited to visit. Located in Jaffa is Abu Hassan, one of the most legendary and standards of hummus in Tel Aviv. Abu Hassan - Located in a peaceful area of Jaffa, this restaurant is always packed and busy full of people hungry for hummus, ful, and musabaha. it’s truly a legendary place and the hummus was of the sticky and smooth variety. I think my favorite thing was the musabaha, like hummus, but with whole chickpeas. They also offer a mix of hummus, ful, and musabaha all in a single bowl which is excellent. Total price - 72 ILS ($20.95) Sabich Tchernichovsky - An Iraqi Jewish food in Israel, sabich is a pita filled with eggplant and hard boiled eggs, and a selection of salad and condiments. David says that there’s no doubt Sabich Tchernichovsky makes the best sabich in Israel, and I was very impressed. He assembled the pita so slowly and perfectly, adding layer upon layer of eggplant, egg, and salad. It was truly one of the best vegetarian (but with egg) sandwiches I’ve ever had. Price - 21 ILS ($5.87) Falafel Johnny Benin - Next to Sabich Tchernichovsky, is Falafel Johnny Benin, a legendary Tel Aviv falafel hole in the wall restaurant. I ordered a half of a falafel sandwich, with salad and tahini. It was delicious, and freshly cooked. Half falafel pita - 9 ILS ($2.51) Carmel Market - Carmel Market is one of the most well known of all open air flea markets in Tel Aviv. You’ll find everything there, including a nice food section. HaBasta Restaurant - Located on a side street of Carmel Market, is HaBasta, a gourmet market fresh restaurant. They served us some very fresh and interesting dishes. The crab was delicious, and the fried veal brain was amazing, but I especially loved the cherry salad. Total price - 400 ILS ($111.72) Pronto Restaurant - Owned by the renowned Chef David Frankel, Pronto is a refined Israeli Italian and Mediterranean restaurant. The food was extremely high quality, and the flavors were very subtle and delicious. We were planning to pay for our meal, but David knows the chef very well, and Chef David wouldn’t allow us to pay. Delicious high end gourmet food. Jasmino - This was probably my favorite food on this entire Israeli food tour of Tel Aviv, Jasmino, specializing in grilled meat pita. The owner, another extremely kind man, ordered me the sweetbreads pita, grilled thymus and bottom part of lamb throat glands, with salad and tahini. It was extraordinary. My kind of a place. Price - 28 ILS ($7.82) And that completed our Tel Aviv food tour! - MUSIC in This Video: Day and Night - https://goo.gl/HwVjdo CAMERA GEAR used to make this video (these are affiliate links): GH5: http://amzn.to/2sV0XQO Main lens: http://amzn.to/2szLZNf 2nd lens: http://amzn.to/2mcEGau Microphone: http://amzn.to/2rBKD3z Tripod: http://amzn.to/2rBFkkI I would love to connect with you! Arrival from the Middle East Trip and Welcoming of Repatriated OFWs from Saudi Arabia 4/17/2017

22:23
NAIA Terminal 1, Pasay City April 17, 2017 “Pinaka sa lahat, the most productive trip ever…” said President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as he spoke about his recent state visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, and welcomed back to the Philippines hundreds of repatriated overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) that he arranged to be brought back from Saudi Arabia, during his arrival statement at the NAIA Terminal 1 in Pasay City. The President stressed, “It is to the national interest of the Republic of the Philippines that we maintain more than just a good relation between these countries. It is the national interest to realize, all of us, na merong more than a million Filipinos there…” He added, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar more than willing really to help the Filipinos,” and explained the region’s importance as a major source of conventional fuel and an emerging source of two-way trade and investment for the Philippines. President Duterte also lauded Special Envoy to the Middle East, General Roy Cimatu, for doing an excellent job in ensuring the safety and protecting the lives of Filipinos in the region. In gratitude to the contribution of OFWs in keeping the Philippine economy afloat during economic downturns and the significant contribution of their remittances to the gross national product (GNP) of the country, the President talked about establishing a simple general hospital in the Middle East to cater to the health needs of Filipinos in the area. The President also promised, “We have an ongoing program for the repatriation of our distressed nationals. Pinapangako ko ‘yan sa inyo. Gagawin natin araw-araw,” and vowed to find a way to fund the program as part of the government’s appreciation for OFWs and their sacrifices. The OFWs that President Duterte brought back were each given PhP10,000 from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and from the Office of the President (OP), plus an offer of training and capital in starting a small or medium enterprise (SME) as part of the program by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The President was accompanied in the event by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Judy Taguiwalo, DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, OWWA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, other Cabinet members and high-ranking government officials. * * * Connect with RTVM Website: http://rtvm.gov.ph Facebook: www.facebook.com/presidentialcom Twitter: @RTVMalacanang Google+: google.com/+RTVMalacanang Instagram: @RTVMalacanang

Pence Wraps Up Middle East Trip Affirming Ties With Israel

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence wrapped up his Middle East trip Tuesday after a visit to Israel and stops in Egypt and Jordan. But the Palestinian leaders refused to meet with him after President Donald Trump said the United States recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Pence told Israeli leaders the United States will offer its Middle East peace plan later this year.  But as VOA's Zlatica Hoke reports, it is not clear if the angry Palestinian leaders will consider any new U.S. peace plan. President Obama's Trip to Israel and the Middle East

14:03
On March 19, President Obama will travel to the Middle East where, in addition to visiting Israel, he will meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah. While this will be Obama's first visit to Israel as president, the White House has sought to lower expectations for any breakthrough in the peace process. In a roundtable discussion, Brookings experts Martin Indyk, Khaled Elgindy and Natan Sachs preview the president's trip. Their discussion explores Palestinian and Israeli expectations of Obama's trip and the Israeli government's newly formed coalition government—including its prospects for negotiations with the Palestinians. They also discuss what role, if any, Secretary of State John Kerry might play in the future of the Middle East peace process.
