Names of days and months explained

16:23
Monday is the first day of the week, according to the International Organization for Standardization. The name Monday is derived from Old English, literally meaning 'moon's day'. Monday is dedicated to the moon. The name Tuesday derives from the Old English 'Tiwesdaeg' which literally means 'Tiw's day'. Tiw is the Old English form of the Norse god 'Tyr', the god of war and law. Tuesday is dedicated to Tyr -- Tyr's Day. The third day of the week is Wednesday, continued from the Middle English Wednesdei which is itself derived from the Old English Wodensday. Woden was a Germanic god similar to the Norse god Odin. Eventually Woden would become the head of the Germanic pantheon. Wednesday is "Woden's Day". Thursday is the contemporary name for the fourth day of the week which derives from the Old English that is translated as 'Thunor's Day'. In Norse mythology, Thunor is known as Thor, the god of thunder. Thursday is dedicated to Thor, known as Thor's day. The name Friday comes from an Old English word which means 'day of Frigg', a major goddess in Norse paganism. Frigg, also called Freyja, was associated with love, and is equivocated with the Roman goddess of Love, Venus. As a consequence, in cultures associated with the Roman and Norse pantheons, Friday is considered the day of love and lovemaking. In parting with the previous traditions, the sixth day of the week, Saturday, is named directly after the Roman god Saturn. The Latin name for Saturday is dies Saturni. Saturday, obviously, is Saturn's day. Sunday, the seventh day of the week, is derived from the Old English Sunnandaeg, literally translated as 'sun's day', which itself is from the Germanic interpretation of the Latin dies solis, day of the sun.

Days Of The Week / Months Pagan Origins - Now You Know!

06:35
Do you know that pagan names were given to the days of the week and months of the year? 1. The First Day: Sunday was named after the Sun god. 2. The second Day: Monday was named after the moon goddess 3. The Third Day: Tuesday was named after the god Tyr. 4. The Fourth Day: Wednesday was named after the god Odin. 5. The Fifth Day: Thursday was named after the god Thor 6. The Sixth Day: Friday was named after the goddess Frigga 7. The Seventh Day: Saturday was named after the god Saturn. 1. JANUARY: ========== Named for Janus, the Roman mighty one of portals and patron of beginnings and endings, to whom this month was sacred. He is shown as having two faces, one in front, the other at the back of his head, supposedly to symbolize his powers. 2. FEBRUARY: ============ This name is derived from Februa, a Roman festival of purification. It was originally the month of expiation. 3. MARCH: ========= It is named for Mars, the Roman mighty one of war. 4. APRIL: ======= This name comes from the Latin APRILIS, indicating a time of Fertility. It was believed that this month is the month when the earth was supposed to open up for the plants to grow. 5. MAY: ====== This month was named for Maia, the Roman female deity of growth or increase. 6. JUNE: ======= This name is sometimes attributed to June, the female mighty one of the marriage, the wife of Jupiter in Roman mythology. She was also called the "Queen of heaven" and " Queen of mighty ones." The name of this month is also attributed to Junius Brutus, but originally it most probably referred to the month in which crops grow to ripeness. 7. JULY: ======= Named for the Roman emperor Julius Caesar, this is the seventh month of the Gregorian year. 8. AUGUST: ========== Named for Octavius Augustus Caesar, emperor of Rome; the name was originally from augure, which means, "to increase." 9. SEPTEMBER: ============= This name is derived from the Latin septem, meaning "seven." 10. OCTOBER: ============ This name comes from the Latin root octo, meaning "eight." 11. NOVEMBER: ============= This name is derived from Latin novem, meaning "ninth." 12. DECEMBER: ============ This name is derived from the Latin decem, meaning "ten." Exodus 23:13 and in all things that I have said to you take heed: and make no mention of other elohim, neither let it be heard out of your mouth. Psalms 16:4 their sorrows shall be multiplied that give gifts to idols: Their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names upon my lips. http://www.hebroots.org ............................................. The 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2018

10:50
ALSO OUT NOW - The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018 - https://youtu.be/1UeJcSlVrd0 ---------- Music - "Beyond the Pines" / "Afterglow" / "Ronin" - Courtesy of ZEN ONGAKU - All Used with Direct Permission from the Artist. Please Support, Listen and Purchase Here -- https://zenongaku.bandcamp.com/album/... "Kingdom" - Capo Productions - License obtained by Independent Critics in Dec 2014. Documentation can be provided. ---------- The world famous 100 MOST BEAUTIFUL FACES LIST has been published annually by TC CANDLER and THE INDEPENDENT CRITICS since 1990. What originally started off as a small project has grown into a yearly internet phenomenon. In recent years, the list has garnered over 3 billion social media impressions and hundreds of millions of views. It is widely considered to be the most internationally recognized and prestigious list of its kind. The list has been acknowledged / personally thanked by over 300 celebs that have been included on the lists over the years. Unlike most other annual beauty rankings, the 100 Most Beautiful Faces List is not a popularity contest and it is definitely not country specific. It is not about the hottest or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform & broaden public opinion, instead of reflecting it. The list introduces new faces to countries they ordinarily would not reach. The Independent Critics search far and wide, listening to the many millions of suggestions submitted by the public over the past couple of decades, and they then put together a list representative of the modern ideal of worldwide beauty. Aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope… they are all embodied in a beautiful face. With those criteria in mind, TC Candler and the IC members select only 100 faces out of the approximately 90,000+ female celebrities (which works out to less than 0.0012%). It is a thankless task, as no individual will ever agree with all the choices. However, the general consensus has been that the Independent Critics have created a celebratory list that cherishes the feminine aesthetic and opens the world’s eyes to a unique, diverse and international collection of beautiful faces. Almost 40 countries are represented on the annual list. That number seems to go up every year as the public participation grows and expands. This diversity relies heavily on public suggestions from almost every corner of the globe. In addition, due to overwhelming public demand, TC Candler has also created a 100 MOST HANDSOME FACES LIST. While that has only been going for five years, it has already become almost as popular as the Beautiful Faces List. Feel free to comment with your suggestions or opinions. Originality is most welcome! Have your favorite name be heard! Of course, lists are always very subjective… you will disagree with some of the choices, but perhaps you will find a new favorite. We hope you enjoy the list. Watch the video and please comment. Who did you discover? Who did we miss?

KJV Only Holy Spirit Wisdom: The Greek Sophia and Hebrew Chokma - III of III

01:47:48
The Holy Spirit cited as wisdom, Sophia in the Greek and chokma in the Hebrew is exactly the same entity spoken about in the so-called gnostic texts. Those texts being written mostly in Greek use the word Sophia which is the same word used in the Bible in the New Testament for translation of the English word wisdom. With regard to their being different entities, there is no difference. Just because most do not understand this biblical concept and try to twist or declare this teaching as pagan, Talmudic, or gnostic does not in any way diminish it as truth. Anybody that looks into this with an open mind and studies it from the Bible itself will discover that what I say about this is absolutely true. It’s only because people do not understand that the Holy Spirit, wisdom, Sophia, and Barbelo are all the same entities as personified by the female Holy Spirit that people do not understand how the Bible connects with the Nag Hammadi codices. In my book Sons of God I explain all of this and clarified that those terms are the same embodiment of the same feminine Holy Spirit. Anybody that reads that book will see this. All one has to do to come to this revelation is look up the original meanings for the term wisdom in the King James version of the Bible. But again because most do not understand that all of these terms are referencing the same being, many think I am teaching something that is contrary to the holy Scriptures when I am not. For anybody that does not understand and wants to know the truth of this matter, go to BlueLetterBible.org keyword search the term wisdom, the Holy Spirit and you will see that in the Old Testament, the English word wisdom is translated from the Hebrew word chokma. In the New Testament which is written in Greek the English word wisdom is translated from the Greek word Sophia which again means wisdom. Sophia is the word used in the Nag Hammadi codices for the term wisdom. So everywhere you read Sophia in the Nag Hammadi codices you can just translate that word as wisdom or the Holy Spirit and then you will better understand those texts as I explained in my sixth book the Sons of God. And so I will respond to the condemnation and misunderstanding so many are levying against me as the Holy Spirit did in Proverbs to those that criticize condemn and judge without truth or knowledge to substantiate their claims: 20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: 21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, 22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: - Proverbs 1 KJV

And Hannibal had elephants! We were a Republic A government run by elected ones Who we call representatives The branch that's called the Senate is controlled by nobles called patricians But the poorer citizens and workers were called plebeians who chose the citizens' assembly My name's on the calendar, my name's on the calendar No for real, look at August, my name's on the calendar (Augustus!) Fallen Angels - Sariel "Prince of God"

05:03
Please watch: "Archangel Raziel: Angel of Mysteries and the Secret of God" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMd1K3kvRCM --~-- The Fallen Watcher Angel Sariel "Prince of God" "God's Prince" is an angel, mainly from Judaic tradition. Other possible versions of his name are displayed Suriel, Suriyel (in some Dead Sea Scrolls translations), Seriel, Sauriel, Saraqael, Sarakiel, Suruel, Surufel and Sourial. In 1 Enoch, there is a fallen Watcher named Säraquyael and Säräqael one of the seven holy angels who is "of eternity and trembling" In Kabbalistic lore, he is one of seven angels of the earth. Origen identified Sariel as one of seven angels who are primordial powers. In Gnosticism, Sariel is invoked for his protective powers. He is commemorated in the calendar of the Coptic Orthodox Church on 27 Tobi in Coptic calendar. According to the Book of Enoch Sariel, was one of the leaders of angels who lusted after the daughters of men. They descended to the summit of Mount Hermon, in the days of Jared, to acquire wives and lead men astray. Sariel specifically taught men about the course of the moon. Knibbs' translation of the names of the Book of Enoch says, it was Sariel who taught humans the "course of the moon" (the Lunar Calendar). His name is also listed as Arazyal and Asaradel in some 1 Enoch translations, the name being a combination of sa'ar and 'God. In this same book, Saraqael (communicants of God) is one of the holy angels, who watch over the spirits that sin in the spirit, Suryal is one of the angels who look upon the bloodshed on Earth, along with Gabriel, Michael, Raphael and Uriel. The Day of Trumpets

36:10
Mystikcenter presents "The Day of Trumpets" (the feast of Yom Teruah), a teaching on it's significance in our preparation as believers for the coming of the Bridegroom, by mystikcenter Guest: "MP3", a Hebrew Studies Scholar. It is clear that the prophetic clock is winding down and the end is near. No one wants to be caught 'off guard' as the days wax colder in the hearts of man, so we should each have our lamps lit for Messiah Yahweh's return. We must also have our wedding attire bright and spotless, as we know it's not enough to show up improperly dressed. If we know and obey the Hebrew calendar of the scriptures, we shall be ready! It is true we can't know 'the day' or 'the hour', but if we are obedient in God's simple commands, we shall not miss the Last Great Day...."The Day of Trumpets". For this teaching, referenced scriptural passages are taken from 'The Scriptures' bible, which is a literal translation of the Tanakh/Old Testament based upon the Hebrew Masoretic Text, and the Messianic Writings/New Testament based on the Textus Receptus Greek Text, modifications to these being made as appropriate in the light of other vital sources. It restores the use of the Hebrew form of the Name of the Father, and also that of the Son, as well as Hebraic name-forms of persons and places throughout. 'The Scriptures' is produced by the Institute for Scripture Research, http://www.isr-messianic.org/ www.mystikcenter.com www.mystiktruth.com

Nehemia Gordon on Hebrew Matthew and the Lord's Prayer - NehemiasWall.com

01:22:34
Nehemia Gordon speaks on his books "The Hebrew Yeshua vs the Greek Jesus" and "A Prayer to Our Father". A Dead Sea Scrolls scholar and Semitic language expert, Nehemia explores the ancient Hebrew text of the Gospel of Matthew from manuscripts long hidden away in the archives of Jewish scribes. He revealed that the more "modern" Greek text of Matthew, from which the Western world's versions were translated, depicts "another Jesus" from the Yeshua portrayed in the ancient Hebrew version of Matthew. The Hebrew origins and meanings of the Lord's Prayer is the exciting journey of faith of a Jewish Bible scholar and an African American pastor who join forces to uncover the truth about the most beloved prayer in the Christian world. Their gripping adventure begins in the ancient city of Jerusalem and takes them to the very spot in Galilee where Jesus taught the multitudes to pray. Along the way they discover a Hebrew version of the Lord's Prayer, preserved in secret by Jewish rabbis for over a thousand years. The richness of meaning that the Hebrew unlocks reveals a powerful message of spiritual growth for Jew and Christian alike. Join Nehemia on this provocative exploration of the Hebrew origins of the Lord's Prayer! Recorded at El Shaddai in Tacoma, Washington on November 27, 2010. The Truth is in The Name

04:43
Here is a Scriptural worship tune from our Family1YAH YouTube Channel that celebrates Scriptural studies (Acts 18: 15 etc......) in Scriptural Words, the Scriptural Name which is above all names, and the Law which includes the Celestial Clock and Calendar of YaHUaH.
Muslim man has dream of Jesus telling him Islam leads to Hell then this happens...

11:43
Neither is Allah a Hebrew or Greek word for God as found in the Bible. Allah is a purely Arabic term used in reference to an Arabian deity. In Arabia, the sun god was viewed as a female goddess and the moon as the male god. God in Arabic is Elah. Allah means Curse in Hebrew. As has been pointed out by many scholars such as Alfred Guilluame, the moon god was called by various names, one of which was Allah. The name Allah was used as the personal name of the moon god, in addition to other titles that could be given to him. Allah, the moon god, was married to the sun goddess. Together they produced three goddesses who were called “the daughters of Allah.” These three goddesses were called Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat. The daughters of Allah, along with Allah and the sun goddess were viewed as “high” gods. That is, they were viewed as being at the top of the pantheon of Arabian deities. “Along with Allah, however, they worshipped a host of lesser gods and “daughters of Al-lah” The pagan Arabs worshipped the Moon-god Allah by praying toward Mecca several times a day; making a pilgrimage to Mecca; running around the temple of the Moon-god called the Kabah; kissing the black stone; killing an animal in sacrifice to the Moon-god; throwing stones at the devil; fasting for the month which begins and ends with the crescent moon; giving alms to the poor, etc. The Muslim’s claim that Allah is the God of the Bible and that Islam arose from the religion of the prophets and apostles is refuted by solid, overwhelming archeological evidence. Islam is nothing more than a revival of the ancient Moon-god cult. It has taken the symbols, the rites, the ceremonies, and even the name of its god from the ancient pagan religion of the Moon-god. As such, it is sheer idolatry and must be rejected by all those who follow the Torah and Gospel. Allah is sin. Often depicted as a wise old man with a long beard, the moon god Sin was one of the most important Babylonian gods. His main temples were situated at Ur and Harran. The moon god “sin” was elevated to the top of the Babylonian pantheon by Nabu-na’id (Nabonidus) in an effort to make Babylonian religion more acceptable to subjects like the Arabians and Arameans. The Arabians esteemed the moon god, but had more difficulty identifying with Marduk, the supreme Babylonian deity associated primarily with the city of Babylon. The god Sin, “The Controller of the Night,” had the crescent moon as his emblem, and the lunar-based calendar, which became the primary religious symbols of Islam, was worshiped in Arabia as AI-Ilah. Mecca became the center of all pagan religions of Arabia before Mohammed. AI-Ilah, the Moon God, was the “Lord of the Ka’aba” (“cube”) which held the pagan black rock idol and was formerly the center of pagan worship, ruling over 360 idols. Lucrative trade routes resulted in meca. Pagans who lived in Saudi Arabia before Muhammad was born worshiped toward Mecca because Mecca is where their idols were located. Because this pagan worship centered on Mecca was so widespread, a rapid acceptance of Muhammad’s new religion was possible. Thus, Islam is a previously heathen religion modified into a monotheistic form by discarding all the other pagan gods except for Al-Ilah. Al-Ilah simply became Al-lah over time. Islam still worships a black stone idol as well as Al-Ilah the sin god. Al-Ilah was the pagan Lord of the Ka’aba when Muhammad made up Islam, he just dropped the “i” and name has been simplified to Allah. The Ka’aba black cube in Mecca houses the occult black rock of Allah. It is of course still the center of pagan Islamic worship today. The requirement for a Holy Pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca, in order to circle the Ka’aba. The site of the black stone idol is to be circled 7 times and kissed. Pilgrims then run to the Wadi Mina to throw stones at the “devil”. Islam incorporates beliefs in jinns which are demons genies, fairies. They believe in spells, magic stones, fetishes, and animistic beliefs (spirits living in inanimate objects). See: Suras 55; 72; 113, 114. These pagan rites are practiced in Islam today.
End Of Days In The Name Of Religion.

05:00
this is a video of the last 20 years of wars, all in the name of religion, and the end of days, which is self prophesizing madness, created by religion. A self-fulfilling prophecy is a prediction that directly or indirectly causes itself to become true, by the very terms of the prophecy itself, due to positive feedback between belief and behavior. Although examples of such prophecies can be found in literature as far back as ancient Greece and ancient India, it is 20th-century sociologist Robert K. Merton who is credited with coining the expression "self-fulfilling prophecy" and formalizing its structure and consequences. In his book Social Theory and Social Structure, Merton gives as a feature of the self-fulfilling prophecy: e.g. when Roxanna falsely believes that her marriage will fail and fears such failure will occur that it actually causes the marriage to fail.

The traditional etymology is from the verb aperire, "to open", in allusion to its being the season when trees and flowers begin to "open", which is supported by comparison with the modern Greek use of άνοιξη (ánixi) (opening) for spring. Since some of the Roman months were named in honor of divinities, and as April was sacred to the goddess Venus, her Veneralia being held on the first day, it has been suggested that Aprilis was originally her month Aphrilis, from her equivalent Greek goddess name Aphrodite (Aphros), or from the Etruscan name Apru. Jacob Grimm suggests the name of a hypothetical god or hero, Aper or Aprus. April was the second month of the earliest Roman calendar, before Ianuarius and Februarius were added by King Numa Pompilius about 700 BC. It became the fourth month of the calendar year (the year when twelve months are displayed in order) during the time of the decemvirs about 450 BC, when it also was given 29 days. The 30th day was added during the reform of the calendar undertaken by Julius Caesar in the mid-40s BC, which produced the Julian calendar. The Anglo-Saxons called April ēastre-monaþ. The Venerable Bede says in The Reckoning of Time that this month ēastre is the root of the word Easter. He further states that the month was named after a goddess Eostre whose feast was in that month. It is also attested by Einhard in his work, Vita Karoli Magni. St George's day is the twenty-third of the month; and St Mark's Eve, with its superstition that the ghosts of those who are doomed to die within the year will be seen to pass into the church, falls on the twenty-fourth. In China the symbolic ploughing of the earth by the emperor and princes of the blood took place in their third month, which frequently corresponds to April. In Finnish April is huhtikuu, meaning slash-and-burn moon, when gymnosperms for beat and burn clearing of farmland were felled. In Slovene, the most established traditional name is mali traven, meaning the month when plants start growing. It was first written in 1466 in the Škofja Loka manuscript. The month Aprilis had 30 days; Numa Pompilius made it 29 days long; finally Julius Caesar’s calendar reform made it again 30 days long, which was not changed in the calendar revision of Augustus Caesar in 8 BC. In Ancient Rome, the festival of Cerealia was held for seven days from mid-to-late April, but exact dates are uncertain. Feriae Latinae was also held in April, with the date varying. Other ancient Roman observances include Veneralia (April 1), Megalesia (April 10–16), Fordicidia (April 15), Parilia (April 21), Vinalia Urbana, Robigalia, and Serapia were celebrated on (April 25). Floralia was held April 27 during the Republican era, or April 28 on the Julian calendar, and lasted until May 3. However, these dates do not correspond to the modern Gregorian calendar. The Lyrids meteor shower appears on April 16 – April 26 each year, with the peak generally occurring on April 22. Eta Aquariids meteor shower also appears in April. It is visible from about April 21 to about May 20 each year with peak activity on or around May 6. The Pi Puppids appear on April 23, but only in years around the parent comet's perihelion date. The Virginids also shower at various dates in April. The "Days of April" (journées d'avril) is a name appropriated in French history to a series of insurrections at Lyons, Paris and elsewhere, against the government of Louis Philippe in 1834, which led to violent repressive measures, and to a famous trial known as the procès d'avril.

Pentecost

27:22
Pentecost (Ancient Greek: Πεντηκοστή [ἡμέρα], Pentēkostē [hēmera], "the fiftieth [day]") is the Greek name for the Feast of Weeks, a prominent feast in the calendar of ancient Israel celebrating the giving of the Law on Sinai. This feast is still celebrated in Judaism as Shavuot. Later, in the Christian liturgical year, it became a feast commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ (120 in all), as described in the Acts of the Apostles 2:1–31. For this reason, Pentecost is sometimes described by some Christians today as the "Birthday of the Church". In the Eastern church, Pentecost can also refer to the whole fifty (50) days between Easter and Pentecost, hence the book containing the liturgical texts for Paschaltide is called the Pentecostarion. The feast is also called White Sunday, or Whitsunday, especially in England, where the following Monday was traditionally a public holiday. Pentecost is celebrated fifty days (i.e. 49 days with the first day counted, or seven weeks) after Easter Sunday, hence its name. Pentecost falls on the tenth day after Ascension Thursday (which falls 40 days after Easter). This video is targeted to blind users.
