Places to see in ( Hollywood - USA )

01:36
Places to see in ( Hollywood - USA ) Hollywood is a city on Florida's east coast, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Palm-dotted Hollywood Beach is backed by the long Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. ArtsPark at Young Circle features an outdoor amphitheater and a striking fountain. Nearby, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood offers contemporary exhibitions and performances. The Anne Kolb Nature Center is a reserve with mangrove trails and an aquarium. Hollywood is a coastal city in Florida, USA that is located between the cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. With a population of 146,000 people, Hollywood, Florida is a relatively small city that retains an old laid-back Florida feel to it compared to the larger cities in the area. Hollywood can be divided into four different areas. The first would be Hollywood Beach along the Atlantic Ocean, where you will find most of the action. A short ways inland is Art Deco downtown Hollywood, filled with restaurants, shops, a park, and California essence housing. From here on out there is not much to see as residual housing and small business occupies the area. When you finally get to the edge of town by the Florida Turnpike, you will find a few hotels, casinos and other attractions here along an Indian reservation owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida who have lived in the area since the 18th century. Hollywood is in southeastern Broward County, and includes about 5 to 6 miles (8.0 to 9.7 km) of Atlantic Ocean beach, interrupted briefly by a portion deeded to Dania Beach. It is bounded by these municipalities: To the north: Fort Lauderdale Dania Beach To the northwest: Davie Cooper City To the west: Pembroke Pines To the southwest: Miramar To the south: West Park Pembroke Park Hallandale Beach A lot to see in Hollywood Florida such as : Oleta River State Park Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino Hollywood Beach Broadwalk Flamingo Gardens Dr. Von D. Hollywood Must See Places

19:34
It's weekend again and we decided to go visit the Hollywood area by taking the train from my place outside of Los Angeles. Taking a train ride will excite everyone to see the different cities on your way to downtown without worrying about the hazzle and buzzle of the freeway traffic and the weekend train pass is really affordable. So enjoy a brief view of our weekend trip of the city . From our trip you'll see how convenient to roam the different cities by the train ride. On our way to LA you will pass the famous Union Station in Downtown and will see the rustic interior of the building with the different classic interior of the building and the awesome view of Downtown Los Angeles is a bonus packed for the viewing public. Too much video files i'd gathered but not enough time to publish everything that why decided to split to multiple sequel for faster viewing.

Thousands of tourist visit Napier every February for the Art Deco Weekend, an event dedicated to the style, vintage cars, picnics and the soapbox derby. Sky Tower =============== The Sky Tower is an observation and telecommunications tower located in New Zealand's largest city. Stern reportedly spent 52 million dollars to purchase this insane mansion in Palm Beach, Florida in early 2013 and had those refurbishments done early in 2016. The specialty shutters weren’t cheap and so as you might guess, they are very heavy duty and able to withstand winds and debris impact of up to 276 miles per hour. They are also remote controlled and cover every one of the houses many windows. The home itself is even more remarkable. The mansion boasts twelve and a half bathrooms, in case the first twelve are taken, five bedrooms and sprawls over nineteen thousand feet across the Florida beach front. 3. Dwyane Wade+Gabby Union Dwyane Wade is a star guard for the Chicago Bulls. Gabrielle Union is a very well known actress. The couple is, by all accounts very happy together and with salaries that can afford them cribs like this who could blame them? The ecstatic couple got married on August 30, 2014, and leased this ridiculous castle for the occasion. The house was priced at 10.9 million dollars before it was delisted shortly before the wedding. The property was built by architect Charles Sieger, for himself and includes a giant, landlocked moat and formal gardens that surround the property. 2. Bill Gates Though the richest man in the world is known as a charitable man who spends his money frugally, he opened his wallet a little bit to build his dream home. The home cost a record-setting sixty-three million dollars to build and took seven years to complete. The property lies in the hills of Medina, Washington and is surrounded by nature. The estate has a variety of garages, including an underground cave that can hold ten cars, six kitchens tended by a twenty-four-hour on-call chef, a fifteen hundred square foot theater, a twenty-one hundred square foot private library and a massive aquarium. This home is incredible, but of course, it's not the only property the billionaire owns on the west coast. He also bought a ranch in California for eighteen million dollars that has a private race track. 1. Mukesh Ambani Ambani is no celebrity; he’s the Chairman of Reliance Industries, a gigantic conglomerate holding company in India. But he is a billionaire and had this crazy pad built in South Mumbai that is valued at around one billion dollars, making it the most expensive private residential property on the planet. The 27 story property, called Antilia, and its unique design have been a part of the Mumbai skyline since being completed in 2010. The extravagant home’s location in a destitute area of Mumbai is extremely controversial. The property has six floors of underground parking, three helipads and a total interior space of over four hundred thousand square feet. The crib also features nine high-speed elevators, a two story health center and six floors for Ambani and his family. An entire floor is dedicated to servicing Ambani’s stable of cars.

Places to see in ( Los Angeles - USA )

03:53
Places to see in ( Los Angeles - USA ) Los Angeles is a sprawling Southern California city and the center of the nation’s film and television industry. Near its iconic Hollywood sign, studios such as Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers offer behind-the-scenes tours. On Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre displays celebrities’ hand- and footprints, the Walk of Fame honors thousands of luminaries and vendors sell maps to stars’ homes. Nowadays, the economy of Southern California is primarily driven by its other sectors: its huge oil refineries, its thousands of rather mundane factories and food processing facilities, and its busy seaports and airports, with the result that the U.S. Customs district covering the region is the busiest in the United States. Regardless, Los Angeles continues to attract millions of tourists each year drawn to its history as the place where motion pictures traditionally came from (and where the management of the six major film studios are still largely based, even though they don't make most films there any more). Furthermore, at least in the English-speaking world, it is still obligatory for most celebrities-to-be to live for several years in L.A. until they make it big in Hollywood. Most of them ultimately flee elsewhere after they get sick and tired of being chased by crazed fans, tourists, and paparazzi, and only after they've hooked up with the top talent agents in Hollywood (meaning that now the best scripts and songs come to them, rather than the other way around). Thus, L.A. is notorious for its celebrity-oriented culture, as exemplified by the "star maps" sold at tourist traps which feature known locations of celebrities' homes. Hollywood, Universal City (specifically Universal Studios), and Venice Beach as their top priorities within the City of Los Angeles itself. Century City, Downtown Los Angeles, UCLA, USC, Griffith Park and the Los Angeles River bridges just east of downtown are all also worth a look. They have all been used for filming a huge number of famous movies, television shows, and television commercials, and will seem slightly familiar for that reason. However, many other landmarks generally associated with L.A. are technically not located in the City of Los Angeles, but are in adjacent cities or unincorporated areas. For example, Rodeo Drive is found in Beverly Hills; the Santa Monica Pier, the Third Street Promenade, and Santa Monica Beach are in Santa Monica; studio facilities for NBC, Disney, and Warner Bros. are all found in Burbank; the Sony Pictures Entertainment studio is in Culver City; and Marina del Rey is an unincorporated area under county jurisdiction. Malibu is about half an hour's drive west of Santa Monica. Disneyland, Newport Beach, and South Coast Plaza are all located over an hour's drive to the southeast in Orange County. 10 Things Americans Do That Confuse The Rest Of The World!

12:23
Top things Americans do that confuse everyone else! These are the confusing and weird customs of americans and things americans do that confuse the rest of the world! #5. “Hollywood Smile”-- Another place that foreigners think Americans are wasting water is at the Dentist’s office. While dental hygiene in other countries may not be as bad as it is stereotyped to be, like in England, they aren’t quite as obsessed with attaining or maintaining the perfect smile in the way that Americans have. Where Americans have been known to spend thousands of dollars on braces and whitening procedures in order to get a pearly white Hollywood grill many foreigners are content with crooked and discolored teeth as long as they aren’t falling out or making them look like Nosferatu. Most foreigners from first world nations care about their teeth, they just haven’t become indoctrinated with the intense beauty standards American society has made a part of its culture in regards to dental perfection. In many countries, having a brighter than normal smile that is unnaturally straight is viewed as superficial to the point of being unattractive or off-putting. #4. “Dining Out”-- Tipping your server and taking home leftover food. Two habits that are so ingrained in the American dining experience that they can be hard to kick, but rest assured if you try doing these outside of the US you are sure to draw confused looks and reveal your Stars and Stripes. In most Asian and European countries a service charge is either already included in your bill or it is not customary to leave a tip. In many places if you do try to tip you can offend your waiter, this is because a tip can be seen as a person having pity on their server or offering some sort of charity. In some countries giving good service is expected whereas in the United States the food industry has become a sort of meritocracy. Foreigners see this as absurd, why should a server be rewarded for something they should be doing in the first place? However, In places where tipping is insulting waitstaff aren’t ridiculously underpaid like they are in the U.S. The other habit that can draw the scoffs of onlookers at a restaurant outside the United States is asking for a ‘doggy bag’ or ‘to-go box’. In many countries, especially European ones the idea of saving a hot meal at a restaurant in order to reheat it and eat it at home is a disgusting prospect. Many dining cultures believe that the food is meant to be eaten exactly how it is prepared by the chef or cook at that moment, not to be consumed after the various sauces and meat juices congeal or have their perfect grilling or baking sullied by your microwave. A lot of the reason that Americans have developed this custom of bringing scraps home with them is due to portion sizes being generally much larger in the States than elsewhere. This may be a result of capitalist consumers becoming obsessed with getting their money’s worth causing restaurants to have slowly battled to stuff people’s gullets.

Hollywood Hot Spots w/ Crystal Fambrini

I appeared on San Diego CW with a "Hollwood Hot Spots" segment highlighting some great places to explore in Los Angeles featuring the best in hair, nightlife and food. First, let's talk about Hollywood hair. Ever wonder how your favorite actress has such amazing hair? Well, chances are it is extensions that's making their hair look so amazing. Before good hair extensions would a ton of money, into the thousands, but Just Extensions is the first only extensions salon in Los Angeles and they will work with your budget to get you star quality hair for much less. $100 will give you a partial row of real hair which will add volume to your tame. To learn more, schedule an appointment, visit justextensionshair.com Riveria 31 at the Sofitel Hotel often holds red carpet events, a definite hot spot. Riveria 31 is a French themed restaurant with A-list level food. The vibe is classic Hollywood with daily live entertainment in the evening that includes a pianist, jazz singers, and even burlesque. The entertainment is free and open to the public. They have a fantastic happy hour as well, for menu information, entertainment schedule, and happy hours details check out the official web site Rivier31.com Tapenade is a California Mediterranean influenced restaurant based in West Los Angeles by the well respected Chef Ressul, whose background includes working at the world famous L'Orangerie sous and Lodge at Pebble Beach. Chef Ressul created his now signature salt and pepper for each table that adds that special touch to each dish. For full menu, please visit tapenade.la LA Magazine calls my next pick "the best patio in Los Angeles." Aventine Hollywood is a definite Hollywood Hotspot, located in the middle of the action on N. Cahuenga Blvd., and welcomes a lot of celebrity diners. Everyone raves about Aventine's authentic Italian cuisine, aventinehollywood.com Lastly, I highlighted BeautyCon 2013 -- which happened the weekend of August 27th -- it's an annual event so if you are into beauty and fashion, and curious about breaking into the online beauty world, you definitely need to put this event in your schedule! - See more at: http://www.styleseendaily.com/2013/08/hollywood-hot-spots/#sthash.Sf5kht6l.dpuf

Places to see in ( Long Beach - USA )

01:08
Places to see in ( Long Beach - USA ) Long Beach is a coastal city and port in Southern California. Moored in its Queensway Bay, RMS Queen Mary is a retired ocean liner and museum ship. The waterfront Aquarium of the Pacific features touch tanks and a shark lagoon. Modern and contemporary works are on display at the Museum of Latin American Art. Rancho Los Cerritos is a 19th-century adobe home and museum set in expansive gardens. Long Beach is a large coastal and port city in Southern California. It is situated at the very southeastern edge of Los Angeles County, bordering both the city of Los Angeles and Orange County, in a region known as the Gateway Cities. Long Beach is recognized as one of the most culturally diverse cities in America. It has large percentages of Latinos and Whites (non-hispanic), as well as very sizeable percentages of Blacks (non-hispanic) and Asians. As a whole, the city tends to have a more East-Coast/Midwest vibe when compared to the rest of the coastal California cities, so people from those regions of the country may find themselves a little more at home in Long Beach. You may hear different people say different things about Long Beach; either wonderful or horrible things. This is because the city has quite a large population, with a density rate greater than that of nearby Los Angeles. Therefore, like other large cities, Long Beach encompasses everything, such as large industrial areas, struggling neighborhoods, quiet middle-class communities, and exclusive neighborhoods. Long Beach has some nice people-gathering amenities and genuine tourist attractions, such as a world-class aquarium and the Queen Mary floating museum/hotel. Special events are also held in the city like the annual Long Beach Grand Prix (a premier racing event held on city streets) and the annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride event. When compared to other areas like Hollywood, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and West L.A., Long Beach may not always be at the top of someone's tourist visit to the Los Angeles area, but the city draws its fair share of visitors and has proven it can definitely hold its own. A car is the most convenient way to get around Long Beach. Most areas of Long Beach have free parking but be aware that much of Downtown Long Beach has pay parking lots. The free bright red Passport buses serve the Long Beach downtown and waterfront attractions. A lot to see in Long Beach California such as : The Queen Mary Aquarium of the Pacific Knott's Berry Farm Bolsa Chica State Beach Knott's Soak City Port of Los Angeles Sunset Beach Naples Port of Long Beach Adventure City Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve Belmont Shore Rosie's Dog Beach El Dorado Nature Center El Dorado Park Pirates Dinner Adventure Mother's Beach Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament MOLAA Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden Terminal Island Mothers Beach El Dorado East Regional Park Hilltop Park South Gate Park Rancho Los Cerritos Rancho Los Alamitos Long Beach City Beach Heritage Park Long Beach Museum of Art ShoreLine Aquatic Park Don Knabe Community Regional Park Long Beach Antique Market Big Air Trampoline Park — Buena Park Golf N' Stuff GhostRider Hawaiian Gardens Casino Administration Surfside San Gabriel River Bike Trail Crystal Casino Silver Bullet Rio Hondo The Gardens Casino Apollo Park Seal Beach Municipal Pier Mayfair Park Hollydale Regional Park Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge Junipero Beach ( Long Beach - USA ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Long Beach . New York has the most people, with a population of 8.5 million, while LA has around 4 million people. The New York metropolitan area, however, has 20.3 million people. So about 1 in 16 Americans live there. The Los Angeles metropolitan area has about 13.1 million people. Both are cosmopolitan, world famous cities. Two cities that never seem to sleep- always hustling and bustling. Over the last century, the two cities have dominated and influenced the culture of the rest of the country. It’s like the two forget the fact that the rest of us exist. You see this on mainstream TV. Most national news and entertainment programming occurs in LA or New York, although LA has way more YouTubers than New York. Both are by oceans. NYC by the Atlantic Ocean, and LA by the Pacific. Both are diverse. We’re talking people flock from all over the world to these two cities to start new lives. More than 37% of New York residents were born in another country. Nearly 40% of LA residents were born in another country. Almost half of the residents of LA are considered either Hispanic or Latino. New York has historically been the main way immigrants come to the United States. In both LA and New York, you’ll see lots of ethnic enclaves, or neighborhoods dominated by one ethnic group. Both tend to have younger residents compared to most other cities around the United States, although LA’s a bit younger. (The median age in New York is about 35.8, while the median age in LA is about 34.6.) It’s really freaking expensive to live in both cities, although LA is about 8.3% less expensive than New York. But it’s a lot more expensive to buy a home in LA. The median household income in both cities is similar. (LA 61,931, NYC 64,605) The unemployment rates and job growth rates are also comparable.(LA 4.2%, NYC 4.2% ) (LA 1.2% job growth, NYC 2% job growth) Related to how expensive it is in both places, of course, is how crowded both cities are. While LA is notorious for its bad traffic, by some metrics New York’s traffic is actually worse. Here’s another surprise. If you look at the entire metro areas, LA, the city known for its sprawl that goes on for miles and miles, has a higher population density than New York. But city proper, ain’t nobody as dense as New York City. We’re talking 27,000 per square mile in NYC versus around 8,000 people per square mile in LA. The average commute time for both cities is way higher than the national average. New Yorkers use more public transportation than LA folks BY FAR. I mean, there’s really no comparison. In LA, people own cars. They drive. In New York, over half of the households don’t own a car. 75% of Manhattan residents don’t.

Famous Child Celebs You Would NEVER Recognize Today

Famous People Who Let Themselves Go Mystery Link of the day: https://youtu.be/Tu78GHbiIMU Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Child stars have seemed to reach a certain level of immortality. In the eyes of Hollywood, they are forever the age where they became famous. But the entertainment industry can often be pretty cruel to the aging child star. As the kid grows up in front of the camera, they have to play their cards just right so they can stay relevant and continue to get work regardless of how old they are. However, what usually happens is that the child star ages out of their role as well as their demand. Then, they are stuck trying to prove to the world how grown up they are by shedding their innocent and wholesome looks. This is why we often see child stars like Miley Cyrus go to the extreme opposite of their image in order to prove a point. But then there are other child stars like Freddie Highmore who has managed to stay relevant and maintain his demand because of his look and acting talent. Yet, not every child star will maintain their looks as they grow up. This LA Musician Built $1,200 Tiny Houses for the Homeless. Then the City Seized Them.

Elvis Summers crowdfunded $100,000 to build dozens of tiny homes. City officials looking to pass a $2 billion housing plan tried to shut him down. Go to reason.com for a point of view you won't get from legacy media and old left-right opinion magazines. ---------------- Each night, tens of thousands of people sleep in tent cities crowding the palm-lined boulevards of Los Angeles, far more than any other city in the nation. The homeless population in the entertainment capital of the world has hit new record highs in each of the past few years. But a 39-year-old struggling musician from South LA thought he had a creative fix. Elvis Summers, who went through stretches of homelessness himself in his 20s, raised over $100,000 through crowdfunding campaigns last spring. With the help of professional contractors and others in the community who sign up to volunteer through his nonprofit, Starting Human, he has built dozens of solar-powered, tiny houses to shelter the homeless since. Summers says that the houses are meant to be a temporary solution that, unlike a tent, provides the secure foundation residents need to improve their lives. "The tiny houses provide immediate shelter," he explains. "People can lock their stuff up and know that when they come back from their drug treatment program or court or finding a job all day, their stuff is where they left it." Each house features a solar power system, a steel-reinforced door, a camping toilet, a smoke detector, and even window alarms. The tiny structures cost Summers roughly $1,200 apiece to build. LA city officials, however, had a different plan to address the crisis. A decade after the city's first 10-year plan to end homelessness withered in 2006, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced in February a $1.87 billion proposal to get all LA residents off the streets, once and for all. He and the City Council aim to build 10,000 units of permanent housing with supportive services over the next decade. In the interim, they are shifting funds away from temporary and emergency shelters. Councilmember Curren Price, who represents the district where Summers's tiny houses were located, does not believe they are beneficial either to the community or to the homeless people housed in them. "I don't really want to call them houses. They're really just boxes," says Price. "They're not safe, and they impose real hazards for neighbors in the community." Most of Summers's tiny houses are on private land that has been donated to the project. A handful had replaced the tents that have proliferated on freeway overpasses in the city. Summers put them there until he could secure a private lot to create a tiny house village similar to those that already exist in Portland, Seattle, Austin, and elsewhere. "My whole issue and cause is that something needs to be done right now," Summers emphasizes. But the houses, nestled among dour tent shantytowns, became brightly colored targets early this year for frustrated residents who want the homeless out of their backyards. Councilmember Price was bombarded by complaints from angry constituents. In February, the City Council responded by amending a sweeps ordinance to allow the tiny houses to be seized without prior notice. On the morning of the ninth, just as the mayor and council gathered at City Hall to announce their new plan to end homelessness, police and garbage trucks descended on the tiny homes, towing three of them to a Bureau of Sanitation lot for disposal. Summers managed to move eight of the threatened houses into storage before they were confiscated, but their residents were left back on the sidewalk. If the city won't devote any resources to supporting novel solutions, Summers urges officials at least to make it easier for private organizations and individuals like him to pave the way forward. The city owns thousands of vacant lots, many of which have been abandoned for decades, that could provide sites for tiny house villages or other innovative housing concepts that can have an immediate impact. "Everything that they have been doing doesn't work. It's just years of circles and bureaucratic holds and wait times," says Summers. "10, 20, 30, 40 years—where's all the housing?"
