Leninade Soda | Specialty Sodas
Aye, Comrades! Get Leninade Soda from Specialty Sodas at http://www.specialtysodas.com/products/leninade-soda-12oz-glass-bottle or from Amazon at http://amzn.to/1vkJblS. Leninade is a surprisingly satisfying, simple soviet-style soda. Named after Vladimir Lenin, it is obviously a play on the word “lemonade.” The drink's flavor however, is much more subtle than the name suggests. It has a citrus base with a mild margarita-mix essence, ending with a cherry-lemon pineapple finish. It is similar to a Shirley Temple with a squeeze of lime. It's quite tasty! Soda Popinski
Soda Popinski (Japanese: ソーダ・ポピンスキー Hepburn: Sōda Popinsukī?) is a fictional boxer from Nintendo's Punch-Out!! series. Soda Popinski first appeared in the arcade game Super Punch-Out!!, where he was known as Vodka Drunkenski (ウォッカ・ドランケンスキー Wokka Dorankensukī?). This was changed in the 1987 Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (later changed to just Punch-Out!!) to Soda Popinski to avoid controversy. His country of origin was originally the USSR, but this was changed to Russia in the 2009 Punch-Out!! for the Wii due to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. He was designed by Makoto Wada in the 1987 release and by Eddie Viser in the 2009 release. He is voiced by Ihor Mota in the latter. Concept and appearances Soda Popinski is a Russian boxer whose first appearance is in the arcade game Super Punch-Out!! in 1985, and again in the NES game Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! in 1987 (later re-released as just Punch-Out!!). A version of the game called Frank Bruno's Boxing was released for the Commodore 64 and the ZX Spectrum, where Popinski was renamed "Andra Puncharedov". His most recent appearance is in the 2009 Wii game Punch-Out!!, where he is voiced by Ihor Mota and designed by Eddie Viser. He lives in Moscow, Russia (renamed from the USSR upon the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991). His first appearance called him Vodka Drunkenski, a stereotype of the vodka-drinking Russian. To avoid controversy, Nintendo of America changed the character's name to Soda Popinski in 1987's NES release. Soda Popinski is characterized by his baldness, height, muscular frame, mustache, and his clothing. In the NES game, he made regular references to soda and could be seen drinking it in between fights. In the Wii game, he is shown to be capable of handling severe blizzard conditions and capable of drinking many bottles of soda. During matches, Soda will attempt to take a drink from a bottle in order to recover from being knocked down, or sometimes in the middle of the fight. If players prevent him from doing the latter, he goes into a rage. Reception Since appearing in Punch-Out!!, Soda Popinski has received mostly positive reception. He has been referred to by many sources as both a notable character to the series and a fan favourite. He was chosen as the favourite character by one of the producers of Punch-Out!! for the Wii. Complex also ranked him as the eighteenth most annoying character in video games and called him an "unholy collection of racial stereotypes." The reasons cited by the article include "annoying catchphrase," "grating voice," "gets in your way," "gets you killed," and "overpowered." MTV's Shaheem Reid suggested that rapper Papoose maybe be a cross between Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, and Soda Popinski. Soda Popinski has been a component of racial discussion in video games since his appearance in Super Punch-Out!! for the arcades. The Guardian's Aleks Krotoski called his name change one of Nintendo's "most dramatic additions/subtractions". Another article by The Guardian cited him as a "shamelessly politically incorrect character." Sumatra Lahiri for The Escapist suggested that despite nostalgia, the cast was offensive relative to racial sensitivity today. He felt that Soda became more offensive once players learn of his original name. 1UP.com listed Punch-Out!! as the fourth most racist video game due in part to Soda's "Soviet roughneck" stereotype. GamesRadar's Dave Meikleham included him in his "top seven biggest drunks in games" article. He specifically calling him the "drink to feel invincible" type of drunk and a "true pioneer of 8-bit drunks." Fellow GamesRadar editor Brett Elston discussed Soda Popinski in his "Fun with Stereotypes: Starring Punch-Out!!" article. He discussed Soda's vodka consumption in the original and resistance to cold weather seemed intentional due to the conflicts between the United States and the USSR in 1984, and noted that Russians were considered "anti-American villains." In his "Nintendo: Banned in the USA" article, Chris Antista of GamesRadar listed an example of Nintendo's censorship of alcohol in video games but noted that his mid-fight quotes still referenced drinking. - Release : 1987 by Nintendo. - Plot source Wikipedia ✦ Played on the NES console. ✦ Speed run time : 51-00 - Hours played : Less than 1

The History of Budapest In Three Cups
In Budapest, there’s more to cheers than just wine and beer. In the city, three drinks reign supreme: palinka, unicum and soda water. These three staple beverages have a long, storied history in Hungary. Palinka, known as “firewater,” is not a drink for the faint of heart, boasting an alcohol content between 40 and 50 percent. Next up, the bitter tasting unicum is a concoction created using 40 different herbs as per a centuries-old family recipe. Finally, the stalwart soda water, now found in every bar, restaurant and café, is a vital part of Budapest’s history and culture. How to Make Soda Fountain Machine - The Q
In this video you can see How to Make Soda Fountain Machine. That's very simple and easy to make. That's amazing really amazing. This video is taken from The Q. So, If You Like This Video Please! Like______Comment______Share______&______Don't Forget To Subscribe. Description About Soda Fountain:- Soda Fountain: A soda fountain is a device that dispenses carbonated soft drinks, called fountain drinks. They can be found in restaurants, concession stands and other locations such as convenience stores. The device combines flavored syrup or syrup concentrate and carbon dioxide with chilled and purified water to make soft drinks, either manually,or in a vending machine which is essentially an automated soda fountain that is operated using a soda gun.Today, the syrup often is pumped from a special container called a bag-in-box(BIB). A soda fountain is also referred to as a postmix machine in some markets.Any brand of soft drink that is available as postmix syrup may be dispensed by a fountain. The term may also refer to a small eating establishment or lunch counter, common from the late 19th century until the mid-20th century, often inside a drugstore or other business, where a soda jerk served carbonated beverages, ice cream, and sometimes light meals. The soda jerk's fountain generally dispensed only unflavored carbonated water,to which various syrups were added by hand. History: The soda fountain was an attempt to replicate mineral waters that bubbled up from the Earth. Many civilizations believed that drinking and or bathing in these mineral waters cured diseases, and large industries often sprang up around hot springs, such as Bath in England or the many onsen of Japan. Early scientists tried to create effervescent waters with curative powers, including Robert Boyle,Friedrich Hoffmann,Jean Baptiste van Helmont,William Brownrigg, Antoine Laurent Lavoisier, and David Macbride. In the early 1770s,Swedish chemist Torbern Bergman and English scientist Joseph Priestley invented equipment for saturating water with carbon dioxide. In 1774 John Mervin Nooth demonstrated an apparatus that improved upon Priestley's design. In 1807 Henry Thompson received the first British patent for a method of impregnating water with carbon dioxide. This was commonly called soda water, although it contained no soda. The soda fountain began in Europe, but achieved its greatest success in the U.S. Benjamin Silliman,a Yale chemistry professor, was among the first to introduce soda water to America. In 1806 Silliman purchased a Nooth apparatus and began selling mineral waters in New Haven,Connecticut. Sales were brisk,so he built a bigger apparatus, opened a pump room, and took in three partners. This partnership opened soda fountains in New York City and Baltimore, Maryland. At roughly the same time, other businessmen opened fountains in NYC and Philadelphia. Although Silliman's business eventually failed, he played an important role in popularizing soda water.[2] In 1832, John Matthews of NYC and John Lippincott of Philadelphia began manufacturing soda fountains. Both added innovations that improved soda-fountain equipment, and the industry expanded as retail outlets installed newer, better fountains. Other pioneering manufacturers were Alvin Puffer,Andrew Morse, Gustavus Dows, and James Tufts. In 1891 the four largest manufacturers—Tufts, Puffer,Lippincott, and Matthews—formed the American Soda Fountain Company, which was a trust designed to monopolize the industry. The four manufacturers continued to produce and market fountains under their company names. The trust controlled prices and forced some smaller manufacturers out of business. Before mechanical refrigeration, soda fountains used ice to cool drinks and ice cream. Ice harvesters cut ice from frozen lakes and ponds in the winter and stored the blocks in ice houses for use in the summer. In the early 20th century, new companies entered the soda fountain business, marketing"iceless"fountains that used brine. A "soda jerk" serving an ice cream soda in a century-old diner in Bramwell,WV(2013) The L.A. Becker Company, the Liquid Carbonic Company, and the Bishop & Babcock Company dominated the iceless fountain business. In 1888 Jacob Baur of Terre Haute,Indiana founded the Liquid Carbonics Manufacturing Company in Chicago, becoming the Midwest's first manufacturer of liquefied carbon dioxide. In 1903 Liquid Carbonic began market-testing its prototype iceless fountain in a Chicago confectionery.Louis A. Becker was a salesman who started his own manufacturing business in 1898,making the 20th-Century Sanitary Soda Fountain. In 1904 Becker's company produced its first iceless fountain. In 1908 William H. Wallace obtained a patent for an iceless fountain and installed his prototype in an Indianapolis drugstore. He sold his patent to Marietta Manufacturing Company, which was absorbed by Bishop & Babcock of Cleveland.
